Angel Locsin won Best Actress in the 28th Star Awards 2012
It's Angel Locsin first best actress award the same with others artists or actors like Jake Cuenca (best supporting actor) and ER Ejercito (Best actor). By the way, the movie Manila Kingpin domanated the awards night.
Here's what they said about the awards given to them:
“After 28 years in showbiz, this is my first Best Actor award (in Star Awards). God is good and great all the time. I worked with the best team,” ER said.
The Best Supporting Actor of the Year award was a tie between Jake Cuenca (In The Name of Love) and Baron Geisler (Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story). Jake feels overwhelmed with his first acting award, while Baron is grateful to the public and the showbiz industry for trusting him again.
“This is my very first acting award. Thank you very much for making my dream come true,” Jake said, as he also thanked Star Cinema and ABS-CBN.
