LOS ANGELES—"Paranormal Activity 2" came out on top at the box office this weekend, pulling in $41.5 million with its pre-Halloween horror story of ghosts caught on nanny cams.

The Paramount sequel was enough to scare off comedy stunt film "Jackass 3D," which dropped to number two with $21.6 million in ticket sales, according to weekend estimates by box office tracker Exhibitor Relations.

Spy thriller "Red" with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren took in $15 million, moving down a notch in the weekend ratings to third place.

"Hereafter," Clint Eastwood's dovetailing drama about three lives touched by death, opened in wide release, netting $12 million, which put the movie starring Matt Damon in fourth place.

It overtook "The Social Network," the story of the founding of Facebook, which came in fifth with $7.3 million in box office receipts during its third weekend in theaters.

"Secretariat," the Disney movie about a racehorse that won the Triple Crown, was close behind in sixth place at $6.9 million.

"Life As We Know It," a romantic comedy about two singles thrust into the role of parents after their best friends die in a car crash, took in $6.1 million for a seventh place finish.

"Legends of the Guardians," Warner Brothers' animated owl drama, dropped to eighth place with nearly $3.2 million in ticket sales.

Ninth at $2.7 million was "The Town," Ben Affleck's fast-paced flick about a bank heist in Boston.

"Easy A," about a high school girl who lies about losing her virginity to improve her social standing, was number 10 with $1.75 million.

Farmville creator Zynga faces charges

Zynga creator of Farmville which is  the popular Facebook game, is now facing charges that it shared private information with advertisers.

Based on the news, Facebook game and application maker Zynga.com is being accused of violating federal law by sending indentifying information to advertisers and Internet tracking companies, according to the The Wall Street Journal blog.

"These third parties like Zynga, if they’re going to get access to personally identifiable information in order to make these applications more useful to Facebook users, they’re going to have to be trusted with that information," said Graf's lawyer, Atty. Kassra Nassiri.

However, Zynga denied the accusations.

The "Baby" singer and his group were playing laser tag versus an unidentified boy's team, says the witness.  "The 12-year-old and his friends were targeting Bieber and shooting him over and over," the observer explains.

"At one point, they bumped into each other by mistake and Justin ended up shoving him to try and get away. There was an exchange of words and pushing," continues the witness.

On hand to referee the scuffle: Bieber's father, Jeremy, who "played bodyguard and tried to break up the whole thing."

Continues the onlooker: "The 12-year-old's dad is a lawyer, so he immediately called the [Royal Mounted Canadian Police] and wanted to press charges."

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – Super typhoon Juan (international name, Megi) has left land and was already off the coast of La Union, weather bureau PAGASA said during its last briefing on Monday.
The typhoon’s eye was located around 80 kilometers west-northwest of Baguio City and moving toward the South China Sea, according to PAGASA’s 11:00 p.m. advisory.

The weather disturbance, the strongest typhoon in the world this year so far, was still packing maximum winds of 160 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 195 kph.
It was moving west-northwest at 20 kph and was expected to be 440 km from Tuguegarao City on Tuesday night.

Public storm signal number 3 remained hoisted over Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Abra, Ilocos Norte, and Pangasinan.

Signal Number 2 remained over Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quirino, and Zambales.
Metro Manila, Batangas, Laguna, Bataan, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan, Batanes, the Babuyan group of islands, the Calayan group, northern Quezon, Polilio Island, and Lubang Island were still under signal number 1.

At 4:00 a.m. today, the center of Typhoon "JUAN" was located based on satellite and surface data at 630 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.7°N 128.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph. Forecast to move West at 24 kph.

Forecast:

Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands, and Isabela will experience stormy weather with rough to very rough seas. The rest of Northern Luzon will have rains and gusty winds. The rest of the country will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to north will prevail over rest of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas.

President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III on Friday refused to comment on persistent rumors that he and Valenzuela City Councilor Shalani Soledad have called it quits, saying he wants to keep his privacy.

"Yung private life ko akin na yun siguro (I'll keep [details of] my private life to myself)," Aquino answered when asked in an ambush interview whether he and Soledad are still an item.

Rumors that the 50-year-old Aquino and the 30-year-old councilor have broken up have been going around the gossip mill for weeks now, but the two have remained mum on the issue.

At a a press conference last month, Aquino said he has no time for his love life, in response to GMA News anchor Mel Tiangco's question.

Based on other articles that were already published on the internet some people were saying that the man on the video was just the look a like of Mark Herras. A thing a like this is no longer new to us, it seems that every week or month certain issue about sex video scandal of an actor or actress it may be local or international is surprising us and the worst case scenario about this, is that it easily spread on the internet. They are celebrities so they should always take the necessary precaution if ever they did a thing like that.  So, I hope they learned from their lessons.

Who is Carlos Celdran?

Carlos Celdran is a performing artist who is also considered one of the best travel guides of Manila. He started as a tour guide for the Philippine Heritage Conservation Society and the American Women’s Club.

Carlos Celdran started his career in art at the age of 14, as the youngest-ever cartoonist and illustrator for Business Day newspaper, drawing a comic strip called "Bar Sins" that discussed both local and esoteric issues. A year later, in 1987 he became the youngest member of the Samahang Kartunista ng Pilipinas on the recommendation of Nonoy Marcelo. After comics, he worked as a t-shirt illustrator at a clothing store he co-founded with his sister and others.

Among his routes are the Intramuros, Escolta and the Cultural Center of the Philippines walking tours. His audience is not just composed of the normal foreign tourists or bored expatriates, but also Manileños who have to be weaned into the idea of enjoying their own city from the street up. Celdran pulls all the stops out, turning into a complete performance artist--in Intramuros he wears Spanish colonial dress or even 70s bell bottoms when he does his Imeldific CCP tour.

His performances become a tour de force, with the tourist having to admire the artistry of his acts.
His walking tours feature a variety of themes such as "If These Walls Could Talk: Walking Tour of Historic Intramuros" and "The North Bank: Walking Tour of Escolta and Quiapo and the North Side of Pasig River" which covers the American period in Manila.

Celdran captures the Marcos era through his "Living La Vida Imelda Walking Tour" at the CCP Complex. The itinerary culminates with a "Do it yourself Tour" which includes an afternoon tea and window shopping through the flea markets of Evangelista Street, Bangkal, Makati City.
The idea according to Celdran is "I can’t change the way Manila looks, but I can change the way you look at Manila."
