We were shocked by the news that an actor named Kirk Abella was mistakenly shot while filming "Going Somewhere," by British filmmaker Alan Lyddiard in Cebu.
Kirk Abella was mistakenly shot by a watchman, he thought that Kirk Abella was a thief but it was just a part of the film where Kirk was an actor playing the role a robber of a British Film which was being held in a certain village in Cebu.
The watchman was Eddie Cuizon, a private security officer who serves in a village in Cebu province.
The victim was 32-year-old Kirk Abella, a Filipino actor, who was playing a role in "Going Somewhere," by British filmmaker Alan Lyddiard. The actors were filming a scene in which Abella was involved in a drive-by shooting.
Abella died at a local hospital a short time later. Cuizon surrendered to police, but refused to say where he had gotten the gun, which was not his. Watchmen are normally armed only with batons and are not supposed to carry firearms.
