Boots Anson-Roa was attacked by a foreigner named Australian-Canadian Ross Hemingway. According to Boots Anson-Roa she was attacked by Mr. Hemingway in the lobby of Andrea North Towers on May 22, 2014 while she was browsing/reading newspapers.
Here's what she said in an interview, sharing the full story of the incident:
“Maya maya, ito na, basta may bumalaga sa akin, hurling expletives at me,” she said. “Tapos tinanong niya ako, ‘Do you own that? Why are you reading other’s newspapers? Why don’t you subscribe to your own newspaper?” she narrated.
- “Siguro nakita nga niya na nagbabasa ulit ako. So binalumbon niya ‘yung dyaryong hawak niya tapos hinmapas ako dito,” she added.
Boots Anson-Roa is now 69 year old and we all know that she is one of the famous veteran actress in Philipine Showbiz Industry. She will soon be tying the knot with King Rodrigo, their wedding will be held on June 14, 2014.
