Tropical Depression Quiel Updates | Bagyong Quiel
Typhoon Pedring or Nesat (international name) has left the Philippines but causes several damages in different areas of the country.
But here comes another Tropical Depression known as Quiel. “An incoming tropical cyclone threatens to pound northern Luzon again,” according to PAGASA DOST.
DOST Undersecretary Graciano Yumul Jr. said, “Ngayon ang Tropical Storm ‘Nalgae’ namataan 1,400 km east ng northern Luzon. Pagpasok niya mamayang hapon, tatawagin na natin siyang Tropical Storm Quiel.”

At 4:00 AM Today, Tropical Storm “QUIEL” was located based on satellite and surface data at 1,240 KM East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.3°N, 134.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 KPH. It is forecast to move West at 10 KPH.
