What is YagattaTalk all about?
About a week ago, in Google’s Android marketplace, Qualcomm quietly launched YagattaTalk, the first in a suite of applications. As a whole, Yagatta functions as a set of rich media services, a platform for enhancing communications using both Internet Protocol (IP) and traditional wireless telephony.
YagattaTalk lets smartphone users switch between text, pictures, and voice notes, seamlessly. Wait a minute! Don’t we already have that? Well, yes, except for the seamlessly part — and for the most part not too efficiently, either.
For example, two users who have YagattaTalk can start a conversation in text and switch to a synchronous high-definition (HD) call and back again at will. Or send text or pictures while talking on the phone. In mid-dialog, users can exchange text, images, short message service (SMS) and multimedia messaging service (MMS) notes. And the application remembers conversation history for continuity of experience.
With its coordinated layers of IP communications software, Yagatta steps up to rich, parallel data communications — including high-definition voice — when a solid client-to-client 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi connection is detected and falls back to “old school telephony” — running protocols such as SMS, MMS, or circuit-switched calling — when needed.
So what are you waiting for? Why don't a give it try of this new web applications "YagattaTalk"?
