The Celebration of Edsa Revolution 2011. The 25th Anniversary of Edsa Revolution.
One most unforgettable event in the History of the Philippines is the People Power or the so-called Edsa Revolution during the Marcos regime. It was such a meaningful and significant event for all the Filipinos who were there during that time united in one goal for bringing back Peace and Democracy in the nation.
So, this coming February 25, 2011 is going to be a big day for all the Filipinos because is the 25th Anniversary of Edsa Revolution.
According to singer-songwrtier Ogie Alcasid and as commissioner for music and entertainment, Alcasid came up with songs that will be used for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of 1986 EDSA people power revolution next week.
Ogie Alcasid also said that it's going to be a great day celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Edsa Revolution wherein he envited a lot of big stars from the three big networks (GMA-7, ABS-CBN and TV5). He even mentioned that he is trying to communicate with international singer Apple de ap to join the celebration. So people will expect their favorite singers on that day February 25, 2011.
