There were news circulating on the net that the most popular social networking site "Facebook" will shutdown on March 15. The news says that it will be the end of Facebook. There were some publications saying that ending of Facebook is true. It is not a hoax. This bogus announcement came from the fake news website Weekly World News (WWN, known for "(covering) events that seem to occur in a parallel universe," even posted fictitious quotes from Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg: "The stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness... I don't care about the money... I just want my old life back."
The website Mashable.com confirmed that the report was false. Facebook Director of Corporate Communications Larry Yu said, "Please help us put an end to this silliness... We didn't get the memo about shutting down and there's lots to do, so we'll just keep cranking away like always." Posted on Facebook's official fan page: "We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started."
