 Typhoon Chedeng PAGASA Update

MANILA, Philippines - Tropical storm "Chedeng" maintained its strength Monday and continued to head for Luzon, state weather forecasters said. 

In an 11 p.m. tropical cyclone update, the  Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical, and Services Administration (PAGASA) said the storm was last spotted 640 kilometers east of Borongan, Eastern Samar.
Chedeng is now packing maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph, as it moves west northwest at 17 kph.
